Apple Day at Terhune Orchards kicks off the farm’s love for all things apple and fall this weekend. Apple Day is a family tradition for so many families in the Princeton area. Enjoy apple picking, wagon rides, the corn maze, a scavenger hunt, pony rides, face painting and more! The animals and John Deere pedal bikes are always a hit for the little ones. Come hungry to enjoy cider donuts as well as other lunch items. Apple Day at Terhune Orchards will be Saturday September 12th and Sunday September 13th from 10a-5p.

The 13th Annual Insect Festival is this Saturday September 12th from 1-4p hosted by the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County. Children will learn about different gardens, as well as the incredible and beautiful insects that are common in the Northeast. Other activities include a “Bugs in Water” microscope activity, an insect hunt, a talk with honeybee experts, learn how to set up a red wriggler worm compost at home, puppet shows, hayrides, and more! The event is free and there is on-site parking.

The Montgomery Business Association invites everyone to the Princeton Airport on Sunday September 13th from 12-5p for the 1st Annual Montgomery FunFest! There will be over 130 local businesses as well as food, fun, games, music and much more! On display will be fire trucks, planes, helicopters, tethered balloon rides and an obstacle course. There will be live music and entertainment all day long. Enjoy food from your family’s favorite local restaurants and chefs!
