The Princeton Festival Pops Orchestra presents “Disney In Concert: Around The World”
Come one, come all. On Friday, June 9 The Princeton Festival will present a multi-media pops concert that will appeal to movie-goers of all ages: favorite songs from great Disney films over the years. “Disney in Concert: Around the World” combines live music by the Festival Pops Orchestra with scenes from the films shown on the big screen. In the first half, there will be music from The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Mary Poppins, and Beauty and the Beast. After intermission, the audience will enjoy selections from Frozen, Aladdin, Mulan, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Lion King. Much of the magic of Disney films is in their music and here is a chance to experience it live while watching the original film scenes.
Brian Eads will conduct the orchestra, and Sarah Pelletier will narrate the performance. “Disney in Concert” will be The Princeton Festival’s first pops concert and a special Family Package allowing the purchase of two tickets at $15 each for children and students under 18 with the purchase of one adult ticket makes bringing the family that much easier.
