Princeton Area Fireworks & FUN for 4th of July 2017

Thursday, June 29
Montgomery High School – the High School hosts a family-friendly festival featuring food vendors and activities, plus classic hits from the John Oakes Band until the fireworks start, roughly 9:15!

Arm & Hammer Park, Trenton – tonight is ‘Thirsty Thursday’ AND ‘Hometown Heroes Night’ at Trenton Thunder’s Arm & Hammer Park as the team takes on the Flying Squirrels! Get your tickets, and catch fireworks after tonight’s game.

Friday, June 30
Rider University, Lawrenceville – grab a beach blanket and pack a picnic for the fireworks at the Rider University campus! Music plays for the crowd as the sun sets, and the first fireworks are scheduled to fly at 9:30pm.

Saturday, July 1
Green Lane, Ewing – bring your blankets and chairs to grab a spot on TCNJ’s soccer fields on Green Lane. The evening includes food, games, music and rides, before being capped off with fireworks at dusk.

Monday, July 3
Veterans’ Park, Hamilton – starting at roughly 9:30, Hamilton Township’s fireworks will take place at Veterans’ Park after live music that starts at 6:30. Bring a chair and settle in for the show!

Sesame Place, Langhorne, PA – end a day at of family fun the park with a fireworks show, set to the music of Sesame Street! The show begins at 9pm and is free with park admission.

Tuesday, July 4
Morven Museum, Princeton – the July 4th Jubilee is a free event that celebrates our country’s heritage at NJ’s first governor’s mansion! This year’s Jubilee includes food trucks, live bluegrass, kids’ crafts with the Arts Council of Princeton, a chance to sign the Declaration of Independence, and more! 12-3pm.

Arm & Hammer Park, Trenton – It’s “Dollar Dog Night” and Kids Eat Free at this Trenton Thunder game against the Fightin Phils, which will be followed by post-game fireworks! Tickets:

Wednesday, July 5
Village Park, Cranbury – Village Park at sunset, preceded by music from the Mercer County Symphonic Band.

Friday, July 7
Lambertville & New Hope – the river towns co-sponsor these summer fireworks shows, which are always fantastic. We suggest getting a bite to eat in either town, and/or stopping for ice cream or a cocktail after the show! Fireworks begin at 9:30. PS: the best spot to watch them is from the center of the bridge, of course!
