The Mercer County Italian American Festival begins tonight at Mercer County Park. Presented by the Italian American Festival Association, the fest includes a ‘food piazza’ with regional Italian restaurants and an Italian Market, along with a Heritage Pavilion with art, entertainment that includes a Springsteen cover band, kids activities and more! 3-11pm. www.italianamericanfestival.com

Saturday, September 24
The Princeton Children’s Book Festival has something for every kid! This fest brings more than 80 authors and illustrators to Hinds Plaza, where they’ll meet young readers and autograph books. It’s a do-not-miss, parents! FREE, 11am. www.princetonlibrary.org
