If you spend a lot of your time indoors or sitting in front of a computer screen, slip into a slower gear and enjoy the wonders of nature this winter with meditation.

You are invited to join Trinity Counseling at the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Center for their Mindfulness in Nature one-day workshop and meditation on Sunday, January 31st from 1-4pm.

The program includes an introduction to mindfulness practices and meditation in the new Watershed Center, and a mindful nature walk led by Robin Boudette, Ph.D., psychologist and Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Instructor.

Nature has the ability to inspire and uplift us while providing profound insight into our lives. Whether you are new to mindfulness and meditation or want to continue to hone your skills, being in nature can effortlessly bring you into the present moment to feel connected and alive. Reconnect with the earth, the sky, your heart and mind in the misty woods and open meadows of the beautiful Watershed Reserve.
