In Princeton, Sunday’s Big Game is Oyster Bowl XIV!

A Princeton tradition is entering its 14th year: Blue Point Grill’s annual ‘Oyster Bowl’ challenges seafood lovers to slurp delicious oysters for a good cause – Komen for the Cure.  With over $195,000 raised to date, this event puts the fun in fundraiser!

Gather in front of Nassau Seafood & Blue Point Grill on Sunday to cheer or compete.  How many oysters do you think you can eat in two minutes?  (Insider’s info: the record was set in 2009 with 102 oysters, and last year’s champ won with 99!)  This year’s winner will win big.  In addition to bragging rights, they’ll be taking home the grand prize – an all inclusive Caribbean vacation for two.

Not ready to take on the competition?  You can still win some great raffle prizes, including a flat screen TV, a golf outing for 4 at Springdale Country Club, a Chef’s Tasting dinner at elements and more!  Bring the whole family for kids’ activities & a special lunch at Blue Point Grill.

The Blue Point Grill team will start shucking oysters at 8:00 am, and the event kicks off at 11:00.  For full event details including contest rules, online registration and up-to-the-minute news and raffle prize additions, visit www.oysterbowlnj.com, or call Blue Point Grill at 609.921.1211.
