Daddy, How's your Karma?


If you are headed to Church on Father’s Day please consider bringing food to support the folks served by the Crisis Ministry. Some of those folks in need are father’s themselves….give back, pay it forward, build your karma….anyway you look at it – it’s an easy way to do some good. Details below:

The Crisis Ministry: Father’s Day Food Drive
Congregations across Mercer County will hold Father’s Day food drives the morning of Sunday, June 21, on behalf of the people served by the Crisis Ministry. Trinity Church and Nassau Presbyterian in Princeton, Pennington Presbyterian and St. Matthew’s in Pennington, the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, and First Presbyterian Church in Hamilton Square will make donations of shelf-stable foods from their members and anyone who wishes to give. Supporters can also make $10 donations that honor fathers with special greetings by visiting Online donors can indicate a special person or persons to receive a Father’s Day greeting from the Crisis Ministry. Those wishing to donate food to the Crisis Ministry can download a grocery list from Heart-healthy foods on the list include: hot or cold cereals; shelf-stable milk (such as Parmalat); canned beans (kidney beans, black beans, etc.); canned spaghetti sauce or tomatoes; canned meats or fish; canned low-fructose fruits; canned low-sodium vegetables; 1 or 2 lbs. pasta; jars of peanut butter; honey (plastic containers). 609-396-9355
